iRespire Innovations Sdn Bhd was founded and started operations in
September 2021. iRespire is a Johor-based company and contributed
with Universiti Technology Malaysia as a spin-off company.
iRespire is a medical device company of engineers, inventor and
maker :
1. to contribute to human welfare by application of biomedical
engineering in the research, design, manufacture and sales of
instruments or appliances that alleviate pain, restore health, and
extend life.
2. To offer optimized healthcare solutions to ensure enhaced
quality of life to patients and customers and added value to
medical practitioners.
iRespire has come out with its own product, CapnoTech. CapnoTech
has been registered with Intellectual Property Corporation of
Malaysia (MyIPO) and Medical Device Authority (MDA). CapnoTech is
introduced to monitor the severity of asthma. Another local
product by iRespire, iBreath is a test device for Covid-19 using
breath samples. This is in line with our government's 'Buy
Malaysian Campaign' and SDG goal towards a healthy living
lifestyle. Malaysia-made products are not only priced reasonably
but also to increase awareness of products that are on par with
international standards and yet retailed at reasonable prices.
Indisputably seen as being heavily parallel to the implications of
the coronavirus disease, respiratory diseases are seen as a major
contributing factor towards mortality in our country and
worldwide. Therefore, this contrivance motivates to direct our
growth in the areas of respiration where we display maximum
strength and ability; to gather people and facilities that tend to
augment these areas through education and knowledge assimilation,
to participate in areas where we can make unique and worthy
contributions.
